​ E-Grants is a Government-sponsored scholarship scheme designed to provide financial assistance to eligible students pursuing higher education. The scheme aims to support students from socially and economically disadvantaged sections of society and to ensure that financial limitations do not become a barrier to educational advancement.

​Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Eligible Communities (OEC), Fishermen Community, and other categories notified by the Government are eligible to apply for the scholarship, subject to the prevailing rules and eligibility criteria. Students admitted through merit and reservation quotas may also avail themselves of the benefits of the scheme as per Government regulations.
